Need ASAP help please. I was cleaning out my chameleon cage to clean up the plants and noticed mealy bugs on the pothos (so I assume they are on everything in there). I know I can treat with 70% isopropyl alcohol, but all I have is 90%. Can I just mix that with a little water to make it 70%? I need quick help because I have to get these plants treated and back in the cage so he has hidey, climbey places. Chameleons stress easily.

Thank you for the quick reply. I just took them all out and gave them all a quick shower. I know it says to dab the bugs with alcohol and it will kill them, but that is a lot of plantage to go through to dab. Can I just spray the alcohol all over, or will that hurt the plants and should I just do the dabbing? This is so much harder than with my non-animal-kept plants. I can just spray them with my all-natural pest control. However, I don’t know if it’s all-natural for just humans and would still hurt animals, so I need to go the alcohol route (until I research its ingredients more).

Oh geeze. I just read I should repot them too. I’m so confused on if I can keep these in his cage since it says I need to do several treatments.

And one of my plants is a VERY picky china doll tree ☹️. The whole reason I was cleaning out the cage was because the china doll had finally settled down from its last repot and was growing too well :). I needed to rearrange so the schefflera could get light.
