Hi!! My rattle snake plant has seen better days… all leaves have some brown/dried out. I have had new shoots for many months that are not getting bigger… its in a 6inch pot and I went to repot today thinking maybe it had root rot.. but all roots look great! What tips do you have to help this plant come back?!
Is it an indoor or outdoor plant?

좋아요 1개 How’s the humidity inside? My rattlesnake is only alive bc I set it on top of my humidifier! They love it! If you don’t have a humidifier, I would stick it in the bathroom with some window light
좋아요 1개 I can’t really tell much from the roots but if you don’t smell anything rotten then it should be fine. I would spray down the roots with 3% hydrogen peroxide and repot it in pot two inches wider w/ tropical soil! They also hate calcium rich water! They thrive on acidic rain in nature

Ah. This is probably why mine has finally stopped getting dry and brown. I had been trying everything by but now it’s right next to the humidifier. I had changed the angles of my grow lights and moved it so many times…and it kept getting worse until now

They’re super sensitive to the minerals in tap water, so be sure to only use distilled, RO, or rainwater when watering it,

Mine did that until I moved it outside. I live in the panhandle of Florida and it is 100% humidity here. East facing balcony.
