Should I start chopping leaves? I’ve been working on bringing back my monstera (pretty sure it’s a monstera - it looks like one) to life after it experienced a shock from the cold of upstate New York. I’m now in a more temp controlled apartment so hopefully that won’t repeat but I’ve been wondering about what to do with its half wilting leaves. It was repotting 6months back, and has a lot of new growth. There is a weird spotted pattern on one of the stems and was wondering if I should start chopping leaves. Online I was told don’t chop too much so I’m being careful since once it’s healthy and has enough growth I want to propagate it. A few months back I also removed some of the wilted parts of the leaves so there is more sun real estate

I have a huge and unruly monstera next to a shaded west window and its got good growth, so hoping your will do well. I think you can trim off the damage leaf so the plant will put energy into new leaves. Don’t cut off too many leaves all at once.
