I keep finding these in the pot of my mostera albo - i poured some water in to make them more visible. There was a thrip outbreak a few months ago and I can’t see any signs of them on the leaves or stems and I do see the odd fungus gnat every now and then. Are these thrip, fungus gnat larvae or something else?

    Hard to tell from how small they are but you can mix some dawn soap and water, suds it up real good, and submerge your pot in it to drown them. Just be careful not to get the mixture on your leaves. Dawn is a detergent and can break down the plant’s protective outer layer and it’ll end up burning in light.

      I think Dawn is more of an American brand, would Fairy dish soap work the same (living in NI)?

      I’ve never heard of it but I imagine any kind of soap would be ok

    Looks like larvae of something. I'd douse the soil with a peroxide mix
