So for these two plants , caladiums and dark leaf Colocasia’s, does anybody have care tips? Mine constantly drop leaves and droop and lose color and I can’t figure out why. I believe with the black magic it may be a watering issue , but for the caladiums I’m not sure! Let me know your thoughts :)
Also, for context, I repotted them both today and gave them a light watering in case it was something to do with that. The root systems looked normal and healthy . Hmmm
0개 좋아요So I have a black magic too and I’ve been struggling with mine for a while. All three leaves have died since it arrived but once I got it a humidity dome it popped out a new leaf just as the last one died! So it might not have the right humidity. I would also recommend fertilizer!

0개 좋아요That might be over fertilizing them! That’s an actual thing I learned that the hard way myself. The app should give you pointers on how often to fertilize them!
좋아요 1개As long as you’re fertilizing at half strength, that should be ok. I’ve been doing that for a couple months now (it’s what my favorite greenhouse said to do) and I haven’t seen anything bad.
