So for these two plants , caladiums and dark leaf Colocasia’s, does anybody have care tips? Mine constantly drop leaves and droop and lose color and I can’t figure out why. I believe with the black magic it may be a watering issue , but for the caladiums I’m not sure! Let me know your thoughts :)
Also, for context, I repotted them both today and gave them a light watering in case it was something to do with that. The root systems looked normal and healthy . Hmmm
0 likesSo I have a black magic too and I’ve been struggling with mine for a while. All three leaves have died since it arrived but once I got it a humidity dome it popped out a new leaf just as the last one died! So it might not have the right humidity. I would also recommend fertilizer!

0 likesThat might be over fertilizing them! That’s an actual thing I learned that the hard way myself. The app should give you pointers on how often to fertilize them!
1 likeAs long as you’re fertilizing at half strength, that should be ok. I’ve been doing that for a couple months now (it’s what my favorite greenhouse said to do) and I haven’t seen anything bad.
1 like Great thank you! I just use a worm compost fertilizer so hopefully I’m not over doing it , but will do!
