It’s been getting droopier and droopier. I’ve only watered it once since I brought it home. But it doesn’t feel dry either. Anyone know what I should do?

I know it causes them to brown and be squishy it could also cause a rotting smell if it’s really bad. But if the roots aren’t looking healthy I would cut off the affected ones and soak in diluted hydrogen peroxide 1 part peroxide 2 parts water (however double check with google for accurate mixture portions) and pat dry and plant with fresh soil with good drainage

좋아요 1개Completely agree with Kate here. Peperomia are more susceptible to edema and root rot because of their succulent-like leaves. The peroxide helps with growing the roots back too. In terms of measurement, that’s exactly the amount I did. Essentially you need enough of the mixture to cover the roots. Make it so 2/3rds of the mixture is water as Kate suggested, and 1/3 of the mixture 2% Hydrogen Peroxide, as peroxide is best a bit diluted for this. Best of luck with yours!
