Lots of my monstera leaves are yellowing and getting black patches on them! Any advice on what to do?

if you're watering it like usual, it could be from lack of light because of the season change. My pothos did the same thing and dropped a good 20% of its leaves in protest lol. If you wanted you could check its roots to see if theres any rot but I wouldn't be too worried. let the yellow leaves stay on for as long as you can stand them

Thank you! I repotted it a while back and the roots looked quite good, I think the winter light has sent all my plants into abit of a frenzy 🥴

Less water, especially during winter months (unless you’re already doing that) or maybe more light if it’s not getting as much light as it’s used to.

I have held off on the water for a good while now. My moisture meter is still saying it’s moist towards the roots. Will definitely think about moving it closer to the window

I would not rely solely on the water meter. Check with a meat skewer or chopstick to ensure the soil is dry all the way to the bottom.

Ooo interesting - can you clarify on what the reason is for this? Or how to tell with a meat skewer? I’ve been very reliant on my moisture meter 😅
