Hi! I just got my Basil plant about a week ago and I repotted it in FoxFarm Ocean Forest and a 6in glazed ceramic pot (WITH drainage). She doesn’t look happy… just noticed today that she’s looking wilty and the tips of her leaves are turning brown. I was scheduled to water her today, do I need to alter that and do it sooner? Oh! I got her from Albertsons too. Does anyone have a guidance on how on how to treat her?

I would agree that the pot size is too large. I have mine in a 3 inch nursery pot which sets above my kitchen sink. It seems to be doing very well with the light it's getting from an LED strip light I have right above it. I let it completely dry prior to watering.

I agree with the comments. It looks overwatered. Don’t water on a schedule. Use the schedule as a reminder to check the soil.

That’s really strange, I haven’t watered it since Sunday night. The soil I used is FoxFarm Ocean Forest, it’s the potting/starting/raised bed recommended soil by my local Nursery. What size pot would be recommended for her size?

It's hard to say from pic but I would keep the roots snug. Don't water until dry. Even if takes weeks.

It’s funny you say this. Last week I repotted 7 plants that were thriving but need bigger pots I only went up two inches and this was my first time using the fox farm ocean soil. It was highly recommended by my nursery. Well I lost a prayer plant and I have two other plants that’s starting to yellow. I removed the yellow leaves and I’m just bummed because I normally use miracle grow but tired of battling gnats. I’m praying for my other plants and keeping a close eye on them
