Hi. This Monstera Albo had root rot previously , I was able to save it by cutting back and placing her in water with pothos and it grew those roots. They’re now turning brownish and I don’t know if I should just plant it in soil at this point.

2-3 inches on the roots is I think the general rule for planting. However, monstera will legit grow in just water so there is no rush at all.

Yeah I’ve seen some beautiful ones in water! But mine hasn’t really flourished new leaves since being in water :( I add drops of hydroponic fertilizer when I change the water but still nothing.

They can take a bit to adjust. They have to grow all new water roots. So don’t be worried. Once they start to grow a bunch of those secondary roots they’ll be able to use the fertilizer more efficiently and it’ll start producing new growth.

Ive saved plants from root rot by potting in LECA after thoroughly washing off the roots with water & hydrogen peroxide. Fill vessel 1/4-1/3 of the way (roots should not be touching water). The LECA coupled with hydrogen peroxide will boost aeration and oxygen uptake. Make sure to wash of the LECA first tho it’s dusty
