Si this lil guy has been dropping leaves from the bottom. I’m not sure if that’s ok or if I should try to change something. I’m new-ish to this kind of plant and I worry I might be doing something wrong

From what I’ve read, ficus like bright indirect light more than direct light, so I wouldn’t leave the grow light on for a long time during the day. If you want to keep the grow light there, I’d say just turn it on for an hour or two instead of all day. Or, depending on the grow light you have, you might be able to dim it and leave it on for the day like that. Watering for these is usually around 1-3 times a week depending on the climate and light. If you’re watering it every couple weeks then it’s probably not getting enough water, but even by following the guidelines of 1-3 days, you could be OVERWATERING it. Don’t water it if the top inch or two of soil is still wet. I’d also cut off all the brown leaves (and sections of brown on the leaves that have some green left) so it focuses the energy on the healthy parts of the plant. I know it’s a lot but hopefully this helps you find out what’s happening!
