Water with distilled water only and give it a dedicated grow light. They need a lot of light.

They do need a lot of light? Planta says “part sun” for me and I’ve always kept it in a semi-shady location (no intensive sun). Mine grows OK - I sprinkle a little bone meal in the soil occasionally to help with the burnt tips. Maybe I’ll move mine to more light because it could be better. 100% on rain or distilled water!

bone meal will add vital nutrients to your soil but it unfortunately isn’t going to help with the crispy tips

Direct sun can burn them if left too long but they can tolerate some. But a grow light above it will do wonders.

i use rain water or filtered and treated tap water. the purest water you can find is best as prayer plants are incredibly sensitive to excess chemicals and minerals in tap water. a humidifier will also help as these plants are native to the steamy environment of a jungle floor, with lots of scattered sunlight falling on them from the canopy. mine are happy a few feet from a strong grow light that’s on 10-12 hours per day

would it hurt to use rain water/distilled water on all of my plants?

i collect rain water and use it for all my plants when it’s available. the treated tap water i make is sort of like rainwater. i’ve noticed a huge difference in the health of my plants since i changed from regular filtered water. the slight acidity of rainwater (or the tiny bit of white vinegar i add to tap water) boosts their growth and reduces salt buildups from fertilizers and removes traces of softener salts or hard minerals from tap waterings. in short: no, not at all! they’ll all be happier for it
