My sister planted her pothos in a plastic container, and she poked it enough holes in the bottom. But she was wondering if this is mold?

Very hard to tell, but that could either be just roots or some kind of fungus. Next watering day, I’d water the plant with diluted hydrogen peroxide, which would kill the fungus if that’s what it is. Is the plant healthy?

Yeah the plants healthy, it doesn’t have any dead leaves/ yellow leaves, no soft/mushy leaves. It’s really healthy actually

That’s great! May be wise to treat the plant anyway.

most molds that grow in soil aren’t harmful to plants too, just usually indicates being wet for a little too long, i have plants in set ups like this too & i just make sure to give them a couple extra days past the reminder,, diluted hydrogen peroxide is a good suggestion

That looks like slime mold. Not harmful to the plant! I’d just leave it be.
