So I have a small 2 leaf alocasia frydek and it is growing a new leaf. I watered it before vacation and I came home 7 days later to the new leaf opened up beautifully but one of the original was completely yellow and drooped over, the other original leaf is fine. Is the pot I put it in too big? It has good drainage but it is bigger

This looks more like a variegated alocasia frydek than a monstera to me, based on the leaf shape. Gorgeous plant, but I know nothing about them 😂

Alocasia corms typically only support 1-2 leaves at a time until they are healthy and mature, so hopefully it’s just that the yellowing leaf is older and the plant is focusing on the newer leaves ☺️
