Help please :) My cheese plant has been looking a bit sad with what appears to be burnt marks and now yellow discolouration on its bigger leaves. I know about natural shedding but this seems quite bad? Also it’s not in direct sunlight so it can’t be burning from over exposure. Any help is accepted!

Did you fertilize or repot recently?

Both? After reporting the watering schedule may need to be lessened as well since there is now more soil surrounding the roots to soak up water. Maybe overwatering or as the other commenter has said, poor drainage? If it’s not an over fertilization issue, I’d say possibly overwatering or root rot.

Does the pot it’s in have drainage? And how far from the window is it? I had mine in a pot without drainage and it had the same reaction. As soon as I moved it to a pot with drainage and closer to the window it perked back up and started putting out new leaves.
