Hi, I found that my Guiana Chestnut/money tree had a bunch of ants in the soil when I went to water it the other day. I sprayed it with a warm water, dish soap, and organic pest control spray that has peppermint oil, and submerged it in water to get the ants out, then repotted it. Today I came back to check and there are ants on it again, so I’ve put it outside then I’ll probably get rid of it. My problem now is that keep seeing some more ants crawling on my windowsill around my other plants and I’m worried they’re going to get into my other plants. I’ve read that they only go into plants if the plant is sick or has mildew or something, so I’m hoping they won’t go in my others if there’s nothing wrong with them? But Is there anything I should do to keep them out of the rest of my plants? And how do I know they’re not getting in my others now? Thanks for any help!
