I found this plant at the store for free. It’s an orange plant and I’m trying to bring it back to life. Any tips! And where I should put it?

I would cut off the leading branch tip to try to promote some growth in the lower regions of the plant. It’s too bare right now

Citrus need a lot of light, to the point that they can sulk if they are in anything other than full sun. The leaves are rather pale and sparse so I’m guessing it wants more. If your climate will allow, I would move it outside, transitioning it into full sun over two or three weeks. Mine are on a south facing porch that get sun from noon to dusk. And they could probably handle more. I bring them in when the temp drops below 55F. They winter in the house in south facing windows and sulk the entire time. Good luck!

My bearrs lime would disagree with that assessment. Look at my leaves, red is outdoor full sun, blue is indoor next to a west facing sliding glass door. It needs light. But I’d argue they’d rather be indoors with that light

Try cutting off some dead leafs / branches and some sun will help I suggest watering it as normal to!
