Ahh how can I restore my ivy plant? This is the 4th time i’ve repotted it due to mold…every time I repot it, I rinse the soil off of the entire plant, soak it in water+dish soap for 10-20 minutes, repot it in fresh soil mixed with cinnamon, and spray it off with neem oil. Why does the mold keep on reappearing more and more frequently + how can I stop it?

hi, it appears the pot is too wide. it could be causing the soil to stay moist too long. to avoid transplant shock, let it dry out/bottom feed and then a smaller pot. if you notice root rot, propagate the leaves that aren’t wilted. (i’m not a pro but that’s my suggestion) good luck

this plant is clearly stressed from the 4 repots, if mold reoccurs i’d recommend simply watering less frequently— mold is an indicator of overwatering and/or lack of air circulation, not usually a reason to repot
