my bleeding heart and it’s propagations are wilting, and I don’t know why… any help? the main plant was flourishing a week ago until spider mites got to it; i treated it asap, but it kept on wilting until it looked like this. I checked for mites every day, but it looks like I got rid of them. They all get half light, and the roots look fine,,

You could always try water propagation till you have more established roots

Thanks for the suggestion! I tried that a while ago, but the cuttings shriveled up too.

it’s possible you’re having issues with it since it’s indoors. my grandmother has a bleeding heart bush outside that requires very little maintenance, just chopping all the dead stems back in autumn. it grows back more vigorous every year and even spread to another garden bed. i suggest planting it outside in the spring if you have the space, it’ll probably thrive outdoors

Ohh how I wish to be like your grandmother… I don’t have any space outdoors, but I’m hoping to get some window boxes in the future. Thanks for the advice!
