Brown spots have appeared on my calathea. This plant sits in my window sill. Is it getting to much sun or what could cause these brown spots?

Calathea like indirect light so it’s probably being burned if it’s an eastern, western, or southern window. And also if you’re using tap water.

I have that plant, and mine is happy in a humid bathroom in bright indirect light about three feet to the side of the window.
