They’re a pest that feed on the juices of plants and can damage them. They reproduce really quick and make a gross white waxy coating that makes them hard to get rid of unfortunately. Neem oil and soap spray are what I used to get rid of mine. Manually spray/wipe off as many as you can then spray the plant down with the neem oil. I’d repeat again in at least a week if there’s more.

Mealy bugs! Destructive and spreads quickly to other plants. Isolate this plant immediately. Use Neem oil or a soapy water spray made with Dawn dishwashing liquid or similar. May require repeated applications to kill all of them. Also, Rubbing Alcolol on a cotton swab can be used to dab on them to insta-kill. Disinfect hands and tools to avoid spreading them. Good luck.

Definitely appreciate you guys, it’s on my bolted broccoli I’m using for seeds, so I ended up cutting the infested parts off and stomping them bugs in the pavement 🤣🤣🤣🦾🦾🦾

Unfortunately, cutting off the apparent bugs won’t stop the unseen ones already in and around your plant. Mealy bugs are like bedbugs.

Sadly, this is a battle (your second) in the war to eradicate all of them. Follow the instructions to treat them. Treat nearby plants. Isolate and all infected or potentially infected plants. It takes at least couple of treatments to get rid of them. Took almost 2 months for me. It contaminated 4 plants.
