I forgot to water my orchid for 5 weeks! It is starting to die. What should I do? I got it from a store and it says to put 3 ice cubes in a week. I quickly put in 3 ice cubes. What should I do now?

Honestly it still looks like it’s doing good! It might be okay. Orchids like to dry out between waterings! Also just a tip, maybe follow Planta watering instructions instead of doing the ice cubes. My grandma always told me not to do that because the water is too cold from the ice. I would love to hear what others think about this as well tho!

yeah i’d stay away from ice cubes and use room temperature water whenever possible, phalaenopsis orchids are tropical plants so they are rarely exposed to cold temperatures, let alone freezing

No ice! It does more damage then helping. Warm or room warm water helps them. Distilled water is good too.
