Help!! This is what my red banana leaf looks like today. She was home alone for a week and the water system I had set didn’t work. Do you think all the drooping levels are gone? Should I cut them or is there any chance they might come back? Not all but maybe the green ones? Thanks

The watering system provided too much water or too little water?

Wow. Thats actually better than root rot. It should come back since it’s only a week without water. I have many banana plants. The one in the picture died off when I was out of town 3 days. Cut off the ugly leaves. They won’t come back. The plants on the picture were killed by a 5 day freeze in February. I cut off all the rot leaving 1 foot trunk above ground. It has grown 8-9 feet in 5 months even in record heat. I water daily. Fertilized twice.

Pick dead, put outside in the sun, water. I bet it’ll perk back up. My ma in Northern Wisconsin had the biggest banana trees I’ve seen just doing that
