Help! my pink princess is doing semi well but each leaf that has a lot of pink on it grows these brown spots. It is watered well and I replanted it recently to check for rot and the roots seemed fine. It’s only happening on the pink parts of the plant. Please send help what is wrong? (It is also in a south east window and gets a good amount of light)

The pink parts are very prone to sunburn. If you want it to grow a little more green put it in the shade for a couple of weeks. Unfortunately it’s common for those parts to burn.

I think that’s because of root rot! If it is soft when it pops up that’s usually root rot in my experience. Sadly the pink is where it will get brown usually. Every ppp I’ve gotten recently struggle with so much root rot! Those roots don’t want to live!! Lol I would suggest you look at the roots and gently run your finger over them and if they easily slide off then it’s def rot. Putting it in a dry soil after will help them to heal before watering again.

Along with them being prone to getting sunburnt, it does not like to be overwatered, which leads to root rot. I got a moisture meter because of my variegated philos, it helps me know when I should water them, they like to be dry between watering. Good luck with your plant, hope you can turn her around! 🥰
