I’m guessing this is root rot with my ZZ. Is the rhizome ok? Many pictures they look more white. I plan to leaf and stem propagate this… but what do I do with the rhizome?

Does it feel squishy anywhere on it? If no, then plant it in soil and it should regrow. If there are any squishy spots then I’d say give up on it :( The rot will only progress through the rhizome. I have tried cutting it away before and have had zero success, it all just eventually rots away.

Ugh I feel your pain. I’ve got the same problem. Tried repotting but I’ve got dying stems. Gonna have to dig it out again and get rid of anything showing rot. I was just holding on to hope. Hopefully you have some healthy rhizomes to hang onto.

Yea luckily I have many more, I just cleaned it up got some props going and repotted. The old soil was pretty old and had a lot of rotting stuff in it. Changed it out to some soil that I think will drain much better
