Does anyone have any tried and true methods to get rid of gnats? We are struggling with them over here. I’ve seen some stuff on fb but I don’t want to kill my baby!

i like to use neem oil concentrate mixed with water, plus it can also be used to clean your leaves and prevent insects on the leaves

I have tried almost every method and have found the following to work (and have used on my calathea without harming): - mosquito bits granules: make a tea (4 tablespoons per gallon) by putting granules in a net baggie and soak this baggie in Warm water for 30-60 mins (can soak longer). Water all plants every week - every two weeks. Repeat even after seeing adult gnats because their eggs/larvae could still be alive even if the adults are absent. Put yellow sticky traps in all plants. It’s a long road- took me about 6 weeks to get under control. You can do it!

Check out “Plant life with Ashley Anita” on YouTube and watch her “easy one step -how to get rid of fungus gnats”

Ok. Thank you. I’m gonna try the mosquito bit last tea
1 likeOkay. I just actually finished dealing with this. I soaked the soil in 2 parts water, 1 part h2o2, and that takes care of the larvae and the fungus/mold that they feed on. I used sticky traps and a zevo for the adults. Systemic for ongoing prevention
