Anyone able to tell me what’s wrong with my poor pink princess? Her leaves feel paper thin and frail :( I picked her up and wanted to allow her to acclimate before I repotted her but I don’t think it’s a roots problem.

Sounds like either a lighting issue or water problem. Is the soil dry, and if not when do you think it was last watered? If it was from a big box store then it’s probably just a watering imbalance. I don’t know what lighting the pink Princess needs, but I’m sure she’ll be fine if you do some research and give her the proper care :)

I would absolutely check the roots. If the soil isn’t well draining I wouldn’t wait to repot. They need well draining soil and lots of light. They’re sensitive to root rot so if the soil in the bottom of the pot stays wet that could definitely cause issues like that

Yeah I second this! I got my first PPP recently and I’ve never experienced so many issues with root rot like I have with my Pink Princess! If they sit in wet soil for like more than a day it’ll rot pretty much. Lol I would check the roots for sure!

Mine had the same issue from overwatering. I had to basically cut off most of the leaves & change it to a well draining-soil mix (like a tropical plant mix) and she’s slowly making a comeback. Definitely check the roots and try to ignore her a little lol
