Please help 🥺 I’m trying to figure out what kind of pest I am dealing with. The creepy crawler started off on one plant and now a few weeks later they are on SEVERAL of my plants. I have over a hundred and starting to panic. I’ve tried been oil, soap sprays, soap dunks, rubbing alcohol wipe downs and spray, cinnamon/neem/peppermint spray. I’ve water with neem oil and peroxide. The bugs are hard to explain bc they are so hard for me to see. They are TINY. They look white/yellow. There is no webbing or clustering of them. They just crawl… all over, mostly on the edge of the leaves. I’m not finding much plant damage (yet). It doesn’t look like they have wings and seem to wipe off easily but come right back the next day. I have videos of them crawling if that may be if any help.

looks like whiteflies. do they fly around or just crawl? if they’re crawling they could be mealybugs. you can use a neem oil solution to remedy both.

They don’t fly and from what I am tell they down have wings. I’ve tried Neem oil for the last 2 weeks and they just come back the next day. I’ve wiped the plants down. They have been submerged in Castile soap/neem/water. I’m watering with neem oil as well lol 😭

I’ve had mealybugs before and they didn’t look like this. This picture isn’t the best, and I have videos that seem to pick up on the bugs better but this app doesn’t allow video postings.

they sound just awful! unfortunately if you aren’t having any luck with the natural remedies you might have to go in with a chemical pesticide😬 something else you could try if they’re living in the soil is to water with one part hydrogen peroxide and four parts water, it’ll purify the soil and kill the bugs living in it.

The only thing that has me wondering about that is that there is absolutely no webbing. This has been a battle for 2 weeks now and from what I’ve read there should be webbing 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ but no clue lol. Someone mentioned Soil Mites and a video I watched looks closely to them. But again no clue. Lol I’ll tried that spider mite treatment you shared. Thank you

Not all spider mites create webbing. I have them in my bioactive enclosures for my reptiles

Your description sounds like it could be thrips

They’re Thrips. Shower the plants and spray with neem oil. Then get some systemic granules. Once the granules kick in you’ll be good! You’ll only need to the plants with the granules every 8 weeks.
