Definitely diatomaceous earth. And a mix of hydrogen peroxide to water. Instantly kills them on contact. If that doesn’t work, change the soil completely.

Systemic granules or BTI drops or mosquito bits or dunks

I use Captain Jacks Insecticide with copper. It’s safe for people and pets. Works wonders!!

I am having the same problem. I still can’t get rid of them. I bought a spray on Amazon with peppermint citronella and rosemary in it but they still seem to be around some of my plants leaves.

When my plants got fungus gnats I sprinkled cinnamon on top of the soil (natural fungicide), I then put the sticky paper to trap any adult gnats that tried landing on the soil again. I let my soil completely dry out before it’s next water to help kill the eggs/ larvae. Then when it was time to water I mixed hydrogen peroxide and water to kill any remaining eggs/larvae in the soil. Good luck!
