Helpppp. This is my favorite plant. Her leaves started yellowing about 3 weeks ago. Did some research and posted on here and the consensus was to repot. Did more research. She’s now repotted (for a week-ish now) in these little stones and water. I completely rinsed off the roots before I repotted, there was no root rot. I don’t know why everything is turning yellow.
Lucky bamboo is actually not bamboo at all. Its part of the dracaena genus. 🤓 I planted some in soil (previously doing poorly in water prop) and it went crazy and grew giant seed pods that had amaranth seeds in them! Who knew! 🤷🏻♀️

This explains my issue with my “bamboo” plant I had. Unfortunately it already died out, but now I know what to do if I get another. Thank you.
