I’m gonna be completely honest I don’t know what kind of plant that is but when my Dragon Tree started to brown on the ends I switch to filtered water and it improved majorly.

If it’s a corn plant I read that they are sensitive to chemicals in water. Mine seems to be doing fine with water that I let sit overnight to let chlorine evaporate out. (However if you look at pictures of mine you’ll notice it’s not so happy with falling over on the floor several times before I got it replanted. Most of the time I’m a decent plant mom, but when things go wrong they’re usually very pitiful.)

I also leave the water out overnight before I water my dragon tree! It stopped being so finicky with the chlorination in the water.

Oh! Its’s a “Yucca” tree. It’s Asian. They’re temperamental plants. Very sensitive to overwatering!!!!

This is because of erratic watering. Get on a schedual with watering your plants. (Water frequently when the top of potting mix has dried out) It’s a water issue.
