I recently bought my first birds nest fern and I was searching care tips when i saw a youtube video that says a blackened middle/leaves means a ruined plant and was wondering how accurate that is?

    Hopefully it wasn’t being watered right there. That’s not good.

      I assume it was since i bought it at an ACE Hardware

    That’s why we don’t want to water directly into the center leaves. My birds nest fern had the same thing. Make sure it has some good air flow around it.
