I’m very new to gardening, and got a basil plant for my window. In just a few days it has completely wilted! I have a new pot to move it to so it will have some more space, but what is wrong with it? Am I watering too much? Or is it not getting enough sun? Help!
Im not sure if this will help but it might be water. Usually my plants droop like that when they don’t have enough water. If the bottom of the bot has drainage go ahead and water it and let the rest of the water drain out then put it in the sun to see if that helps.

Hi there :) I think it might be overwatered? Has it always been sat in the bowl of water like that? I would let it drain off and dry out a bit before watering again. Next time, water from the top… let it drain out… and again, wait until the top soil dries out again before you water again. Make sure it’s getting plenty of indirect sunlight too.
2개 좋아요I only sit it in water for 20 mins or so and then drain it out—a friend told me that’s a good way to make sure the water gets the the roots :) I’ll try to make sure I don’t water it too much!
