Does anyone know what this little bug is? I was looking through my plant’s soil (various veggies) for fungus gnat larvae and suddenly started finding these little guys. About 1/4 inch long with spikes/hairs on his back. Looks kinda like a rolypoly but with spikes. They don’t seem to be hurting the plants and could possibly be eating the gnat larvae (lately finding more of these guys and less of the gnat larvae but idk could be a coincidence. Still removing them regardless lol) if anyone knows, please let me know! Thank you <3

I checked my app (Picture Insect) and it came up with larder beetle but I’m not sure.

I looked up larder beetle larvae and it’s super close but not quite :\ I didn’t know that app existed, tho, so maybe I can get a better picture and use it to find out! Thank you 💜

I thought mealybug too but there’s no powdery white stuff and they’re more oval and these little guys have a tapered head (not easy to see on the picture). It’s a ✨bug of mystery✨

I thought mealybug too but they’re not completely oval and I think these guys are too big too :\ new rule: all bugs are required to wear name tags so we don’t have to guess
