Hi! So I took a Hoya home from work because it looked brittle and like it was not doing well. In the process of down potting it, several of its branches broke off so I put them into water hoping I could do something (?) with it. Anyway the ones with roots look like this and I would love any information on how get it back to being happy.

I find with Hoya it’s just a waiting game. Once it acclimatizes to its new environment, it should start pushing out new leaves.

Yeah they are slow growers. I just wanted to make sure I didn’t kill it 😅

If the cuttings are rooting, I think the plant is strong enough to establish in a new location. Good luck!
