Hello! I just had a question about my monstera! She has been doing awesome since I got her (about a year ago) but suddenly her bottom leaves have all started yellowing. I haven’t changed the watering schedule or anything. Any ideas?

Agree with Ari, you can cut the leaves and replant it. You can also try putting the aerial roots in water (a small water container on the side, but remember that this container never runs dry of water) my monsteras are growing amazing since I do that. I hope it helps you.

I had a bit of a similar issue and I read that the smaller leaves at the bottom are usually temporary while they get the energy to grow larger ones. As my monstera got bigger I had the smaller leaves at the bottom die off as it grew in bigger beautiful leaves at the top

Same with Ari and others, this seems completely normal! If you’re still worried/feel like you need to do something - you could clean the leaves (helps with photosynthesis, just avoid using things like mayo or dish soap since that’ll hurt the leaves!) and take that time to check for pests, weird growth etc :) But unless the newer leaves are also dying/coming out deformed I wouldn’t worry! (And please don’t repot unless you have due to being root-bound or root rot or something!)
