I purchased plants over the weekend along with potting soil and planted them in a pot. I have done this before and every plant died. Any ideas as to why this happened and how to prevent it from happening again?

Hi Brooke! I’m sorry that’s so sad 😭 I try buying plants from nurseries really close to my house so the temperature/humidity is more or less the same from the nursery vs my house. Also, with some of the more delicate plants (looking at you tropical plants) I’ve noticed they sometimes need about a week to acclimate to their new environment before going through the “shock” of being repotted. Also I’m sure you already know this but make sure to water the plant after repotting. Hope this helps!
