I’m fairly new to the prayer plant/lemon lime maranta, and so I’m wondering if this is normal. I ordered this plant online. It came in good shape and seems to be doing well. It was growing vertically. I have it in an East facing window, facing towards the window. But it keeps growing almost backwards, and almost horizontally, like leaning backwards almost. Is this bad or should I do something for it? Turn it around so it’s facing away from the sun? Get it a moss pole? Or just stop worrying about it? It seems to be doing fine and pushing out new growth, so I’m not too concerned, but just wanted to make sure I’m not doing anything wrong.

It looks to be doing well, imo. Looks like it’s just growing and being weighed down, which is normal. You don’t need a moss pole, this one will just hang over the side of the pot. You can always rotate the pot, but I don’t know that it will affect the growth pattern too much.

The leaves are just trying to follow the sun! Try turning the plant 180 degrees :)

Mine does the same thing. It is now trailing down the back of the pot it’s in and is doing quite well with several new leaves. I think it’s pretty normal for them when they are young. My leuconeura is older and is way bushier than the lemon lime.
