Hi… anyone know what’s happening with my prayer plant? I got it a week or two ago… I cut off some of the leaves, and then stuck them in the soil. I believe only one of the yellow leaves is because of this. The one above I can’t tell. Any help?
Plants often lose a leaf or two (especially the lower/older ones) when they are acclimating in your home, since it likely isn’t as much of an ideal condition as the nursery. It also sounds like you propagated when you brought it home, which could add more stress. I wouldn’t worry too much about the few leaves that are yellowing, since it’s not happening to the whole plant. Leave it in a place that has a decent amount of humidity and indirect light and let it acclimate, it should recover!

Also, this plant is sensitive to lime. I see some water spots on the leaves… you may need to buy some distilled water to water the plant and I also use the distilled to mist the plant. Once I switched to distilled, mine took off and the leaves became a darker color.
