Help. I’m having a tough time determining if my monstera has thrips or not. Used the iPhone magnifier too look closely, but I didn’t identify much. Also, if I do have thrips, what is the best way to handle them? Edit: I’m starting to think it’s not infected, and maybe the leaf curl is due to needing a repotting. Idk.. any info helps!

I’m new. So perhaps you could give it a repot with a chunky fast draining soil. Depending on the root ball size, same pot or go up 1-2”. Spray with an insecticide and later on a fungicide. So you’ll cover all your bases. Also give it something to climb on, a stick, a trellis, or a moss pole.

What size of a pot is it in? It doesn’t look like it needs a slightly bigger one. The dose it with insecticidal soap to see if it gets rid of pests.
