Monstera with 3 leaves but not a large plant. What causes black grow on a leaf?? Think its root rot or over watering. Cut out the black shape, but I repotted this plant back into its original smaller pot with Coco core, pearl light, bark, and it’s much happier. And I added a cedar wood pole ( for now)

looks like a fungal spot to me, maybe too much misting, if too much water collects on their leaves, they can completely rot in spots that collected water for too long. recommend a humidity tray instead

You did the right thing by changing to a smaller pot and changing to an aroid soil mix. Don’t be misting this plant at all. That will only prevent the leaves from photosynthesizing. Also try adding a very very tiny amount of hydrogen peroxide to your next watering to try and kill off any fungal presence from when you had it in too much soggy soil. If it did/does have root rot, in my experience it’s usually too late, but you can try that method.
