Roundshouse Plants

My homalomena has been fine for weeks. In a matter of 48 hours I've lost 2 leaves and it seems 2 more are going down. No new growth. No mites/bugs. Soil is testing a little wet, but I just bottom watered it yesterday. PH is perfect. What would you do??

    Did you check the roots?

I checked this morning. They look just fine. No musty smell, no mush. They were a little tight so I aired them out a bit and then changed out the soil. I noticed some of those irritating fertilizer beads stuck in a few places so I got those outta there and put it in a terra cotta pot. Maybe it's just holding too much water over time. I also poked a few air holes through the root cluster just to make sure it wasn't compacted too tightly and I had some air flow to make sure I don't get soggy soil. I know sometimes plants just die, but I love this lady! 😭
