My Dracaena Limelight has these brown spots on it, and I don’t know why? The only window in the room faces south and it’s around 8-9 feet from the window. I water it around once a week as that’s what I heard it needs. I’m worried I’m killing it?

I’m not completely sure but we have a plant just like that and it was doing the same thing so I think it’s normal.

I have one, and it had the same brown spots on two leaves when I rescued it. The spots are still on those leaves, but all the other ones and the new ones are fine. I’ve had it for a year. Mine’s about 4 feet from a south facing window in a terracotta pot, and I water it around once every 14 days. I haven’t yet repotted or fertilized it because I was waiting to see how it would do. I think maybe you need to move yours closer to the window and try watering less — or using a moisture meter before you water again.
