Hello everyone!! Had this app for ages but never participated in the forums, glad to see a group dedicated to pests and problems i guess i’ll be here more often 😂 I noticed this little white worm earlier in my tomato plant soil… white/translucent body with a brownish/red head. Are these healthy worms or should I be concerned? If they are damaging…. how can I get rid of them? FYI, the photo of the fruits are purely just to showcase how beautiful they are. No signs of worms on the actual fruits/leaves 🥹 Thanks y’all!

It looks like it could be the larvae of fungus gnats. Gnats are usually pretty harmless to your plants, and inevitable when you have plants in your home. But if they get out of hand or if the plant is a seedling, or particularly weak, they can become a problem since they can start to eat the delicate roots of your plants. But as long as there’s just a few there’s no need to worry.
