Help!!! Do these roots look rotten? If I slide my finger on them they just slide off

    There are good roots there. PPP have dark roots but the ones that fall off are dead, I wouldn’t say rotten. And I’m not a fan of the wooden part of that pole. That looks rotted.

      Forgot to ask, how’s the plant? What made you pull it out of its pot?

      It was growing very slowly and had a baby that I wanted to check. I decided I didn’t want to chance it and just am propagating it. I can always try again if it doesn’t work!

    That’s it’s root system, in my endeavor with this exact plant I have realized that she loves her shallow roots and that’s what she mostly puts out which is why she grows so slowly, don’t keep pulling and get ready for it to go into shock for a little bit after taking it out

      It was all messed up. I’m propagating it and if that doesn’t work out I’ll just try again.
