My fiddle leaf fig used to have big green leaves but in the past couple weeks they’ve all turned brown and fallen off. We just moved to a new house but put her in a similar spot by the window like she was at my old house. She hasn’t grown new leaves in over a year though. Anyone know how I can get her big beautiful leaves back?

When was the last time your plant was repotted? From the size of it, it looks like you might be dealing with a root bound plant. My FLF typically pushes out a new leaf around every 6 weeks so if you have seen any new growth there is something stunting it and my first guess is it needs a bigger pot.

fiddle leaves go into shock very easily. unfortunately, unless you buy cloning paste, it will not regrow the lost leaves. new growth will continue to be bushy once it adjusts to the new environment.

What kind of cloning paste is good? I have a fiddle leaf fig that I rooted, it was a top that was cut off and thrown into a yard for a day, I found it and propagated it, but it’s slowly turned into crinkled green leaves and has never had any new growth.

I’m agreeing with plantgeek. Such dramatic plants! If you feel up to it, you might try air propagation to reduce the height of the tree. Essentially giving you the “young, new” tree you had before.

The brown bits are dead bits. They won’t magically turn green again. You can trim them or leave it. Either way is fine, but I prefer not to cut up my leaves
