Hi, my Chinese money plant/Pilea has developed a yellow leaf with a big brown spot. Another one looks like it is headed that way too. It was in the kitchen which doesn’t really get any direct light, so I moved it to the side bedroom which is *almost* full sun. I’m not sure what is happening though. There are no visible pests, and I have only given it about 1/3 cup water since I got it bc the pot it’s in doesn’t have drainage. Thanks in advance for any help!!

To me it just looks like an older leaf that’s dying off! But I would recommend repotting to a pot with more drainage

Lack of drainage could be the problem. You are guessing how much water the plant needs. Guess too much and the roots sit it water, turning yellow from root rot. Guess too little and the plant turns yellow and dries out from lack of water.

Mine def loves the light, so good move. Let it dry out a little more between waterings and see how it does. I water when dry halfway down. 👍🏼🌿
