Help! Been dealing with yellow leaves for a while. I figured it may be too much sunlight so I moved it to a less direct area but it still doesn’t seem to be doing too great.

Are you sure this is a corn plant? It looks like a Cast Iron plant to me. If it turns out to be a cast iron plant, letting this one dry out a bit between waterings is best. Yellow leaves in my experience have either been pests or over/under watering. If possible I’d check the roots! For rot as well see if the roots are filling this pot or are too small. If it seems not enough roots, I would downsize a little. Cast Irons are sensitive to root rot and fluoride, other than that they’re quite a hardy plant! Also they like light, but maybe not as much as others.

Omg thanks for all the tips! It could absolutely be a cast iron plant for all I know haha - still a bit of a beginner here. But I’ll absolutely be trying out those tips thanks again!!
