My jeweled orchid looks sad😢i got him in the mail about a 5 days ago and transplanted him to the tiny pot he’s in now but he just looks droopy and sad😢😢😢 the plant dr. believed it to be under watered so i’m trying that and moving him into a bit more sun, but any suggestions? anything would be much appreciated to save my plant baby🥹 (his name is jimothy btw lol)

I'd suggest just keeping him monitored I've found in small pots like that soil dries much quicker so just need to be a bit more on top of it. The reporting and change of environment could have just spun him out a little and he could very well regulate himself soon

Hi! So I have had one for a couple of months and this is what I have found. I believe these types of plants are typically grown in a terrarium. I don’t have a terrarium but I have a grow cabinet I keep it in to get the high humidity that they like. I also wasn’t sure about the soil. When I looked up what they grew best in, I found that a mix of sphagnum moss, orchid bark, and perlite was recommended. I’m sure the soil would be fine. I just received mine in sphagnum so I wanted to keep it similar. They are also crawlers. So they’ll grow along the ground and not climb up.
