Does anyone know what’s wrong with this alocasia? I repotted this 2 wks after buying it at the beginning of the year. I waited a week before watering the plant, after repotting. It was rootbound so I decided to repot it. I didn’t cut any of the roots because it all looked healthy. I simply shook off all the soil. Appreciate any help!

My best guess is that it’s fungal leaf spot. While it may just be a little shook from being repotted, it still seems like leaf spot. But it is a problem that can be fixed! Make sure you’re not overwatering your Alocasia, as it can encourage fungal infections. And they do like humidity, but there are methods that are better than others. For instance misting is a popular method, but please avoid getting any water on the leaves. Investing in a humidifier is your best bet, and try placing that close to your plant, but not too close to where the moisture hits the leaves. Also make sure there’s plenty of air circulation, so just don’t crowd your plant around others. Let it breathe. And I would snip the damaged leaf off and spray some fungicide on the rest of the plant.

Thanks for the tip! I will cut off the leaf and move it a bit farther from the other plants it’s with. I have a humidifier in the vicinity
